The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) aims to accelerate the process for those who wish to settle in British Columbia permanently. The BCPNP has three major categories:

Skills Immigration Streams

This stream targets skilled and semi-skilled workers in high-demand occupations.

Express Entry Streams

Nominates qualified candidates under the express entry immigration system.

Entrepreneur Immigration

For individuals who wish to invest and operate a business in British Columbia.

The BCPNP Tech Pilot Program

The BCPNP also offers a tech pilot program for tech and IT workers to immigrate to British Columbia and obtain permanent residence status. This is how the tech pilot program works

Weekly draws are held for qualified registrants
Invitations are issued to experienced candidates
Candidates must have a one-year job offer from a British Columbia employer
Applications are prioritized in 29 key technology occupations
The applications are processed within 2-3 months

Skilled workers, healthcare professionals, international graduates, international postgraduates and entry-level and semi-skilled workers are the eligible categories for the BCPNP tech pilot program.
